Swish Basketball builds skills through proper drills and real games, with qualified coaches and classes grouped by age.

COMPETITIONS AND PROGRAMS

St George Basketball Association

Local junior and senior competitions run at the stadium through St George Basketball Association, a member of Basketball NSW.

St George Basketball runs local competitions at Hurstville and at Morris Iemma Indoor Sports Centre in Riverwood.

Junior competitions. Grades from Under 10 to Under 18.

Senior competitions. Under 22, plus open Women's and Men's grades.

Development programs. Junior clinics and academy sessions run at Blakehurst High School.

Representative teams. The Saints compete in Basketball NSW representative competitions.

How do I book a court?

Call the centre on (02) 9585 9600. Recurring weekly bookings can hold the same court and time across a term.

What ages can kids play?

Swish Basketball classes take kids from 4.5 to 12 years. St George Basketball junior competitions run from Under 10 to Under 18.

Do I need to be a member to play?

No. Courts can be hired by anyone, and St George Basketball registration and Swish Basketball enrolment are both separate from centre membership.

Are Active Kids vouchers accepted?

Yes, NSW Active Kids vouchers are accepted for Swish Basketball. For vouchers on St George Basketball registration, check with the club when registering.

Where is the stadium?

The Johnny Warren Indoor Sport Centre is inside Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre, on the corner of King Georges Rd and Forest Rd, Hurstville.

How do I join a competition or program?

Competition registration goes through St George Basketball's website, which always has current seasons, age groups and fees. Swish Basketball enrolment is on the Swish Basketball page.
